Dr. Farooq earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He continued his educational journey and completed Honors degree of Master of Science in Surgery in 2002 with high distinctions. In 2009, Dr. Farooq enrolled in continued skilled training enhancement program via the Ontario Veterinary College, while practicing as a Veterinarian in Ontario since that time. Much like his father who was also in the profession of veterinary medicine, Dr. Farooq has traveled throughout Canada, continuing to expand his experience in small animal practice, mixed animal practice, emergency medicine, and 24-hour (crisis) practice experience. Dr. Farooq has practiced as far east as St. John’s Newfoundland, as well as several areas of both Northern and South Eastern Ontario.Associate Veterinarian Services at Banfield Pet Hospital Fredericksburg Virginia USA Ongoing education and continued specialized skill development remains a commitment of Dr. Farooq who remains a member of the Quinte District Veterinary Association (QDVA) in order to pursue courses in Continuing Education. Dr Diane Leishman
Dr Leishman was born in Kingston . She graduated from the University of Guelph with degrees in Zoology and Veterinary Medicine. She worked as an associate in Alberta for several years before becoming a practice owner in North Vancouver, B.C.
She and her husband Bill have recently relocated to Inverary to be closer to the family including their 3 children in postsecondary school in the province. She has training in ultrasound and enjoys keeping informed of advances in animal health.
When not working, she enjoys choir, travel and spending time with the family's springer spaniels (Bobbie and Pika} and cats Stella, Mouse, and Reggie.
